Putnam Music Center is an ideal Music School for students to build a solid foundation while having fun with music education. No matter which instrument or program you pick, you’re guaranteed a quality experience from our passionate instructors. Our experienced staff and professional music teachers, will guide you on your artistic journey. Putnam Music Center offers both private and group lessons to all instruments.   Whether you are purchasing an instrument, in need of sheet music or accessories, instrument rentals and repairs, we have you covered.  We also are pleased to introduce our Kindermusik and Arts classes.  Whether you’re enrolled or thinking of starting a new musical chapter in your life please feel free to browse our store and ask any questions you would like. Elizabeth Tedesco

Our Owner

Elizabeth Tedesco is a classically trained violinist and certified Kindermusik teacher.  She has a Masters of Music in Music Education from Campbellsville University. Elizabeth began the violin at age 5 and has studied with Ms. Sylvia Medford. She has been teaching the violin/viola for over 22 years, and has instructed both private lessons and group lessons for ages 3-adult. 

 

Elizabeth has been Kindermusik and Musikgarten certified for over 20 years and teaches classes for the ages of birth – 7. She teaches Suzuki Violin and Piano classes for ages 3 and up.

Elizabeth has been a choir director for both children and adult choirs through the years.   Music truly has always been Elizabeth's passion.

Continental Who's Who Inner Circle 2025.

Her repertoire includes performing at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall with the international World Civic Orchestra (WCO), and locally with the Putnam Symphony Orchestra.

Elizabeth's passion for teaching started at Songcatchers where she established the early childhood music program and still enjoys accompanying the concert choir at their performances.
